Lester Barrie is a Southern California Christian Pastor, and professional comedian, with the gift to perform anywhere, and under any circumstances, while always being hilariously funny!!
With his unique experiences, gifts and personality, no gathering is too big or too small for Lester to bring an all-inspiring sermon, or the joy of side-splitting laughter!
Lester is the only ordained Pastor to record even ONE stand-up comedy special, and he now has TWO!
His second comedy special
"A Fan of Marriage"
is soon to be released on the
"Dry Bar"
platform, while his first super funny stand-up comedy special
"Super Saint"

As a seasoned preacher Lester has ministered from coast to coast, and as a comedian he has performed around the world.
In his early years as a comedian, this young preacher performing standup has prevailed over
Dave Chappelle,
Chris Tucker,
and
DL Hughley
in comedy competitions.
Additionally, Lester has performed as an understudy for Tyler Perry in the gospel stage play,
“I know I’ve been changed.”
On social media Lester Barrie is best known for his role as the preacher in the cult classic movie
"Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood."
Originally from Chicago Illinois by way of Long Beach, Ca.
Lester is a graduate of the University
of
Southern California,
where he earned a scholarship to compete on the
USC Trojan Debate Squad.
He is currently pursuing his Master of Theology at Gateway Theological Seminary.
Lester is in his 11th year of marriage to Minister Trinette Barrie.
Together they have an 8-year-old daughter; Karis Jewell, and a blended family with River Jordan Lester's adult son from a previous marriage.
Lester Barrie is also the founder of the
Southern California
"Inspirational"
Comedy Competition.
Nicknamed the Gentleman's Def Jam, this competition spotlights the top urban comedians performing comedy without profanity, vulgar or sexual content.
The evening also honors a veteran and influential comedian.
To date Lester Barrie performs frequently at "A" list comedy clubs on the LA scene, as well as at corporate functions,
while serving as the Assistant Pastor at a Baptist Church in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
