INVOCATION
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God and these witnesses to join [Name] and [Name] in holy matrimony, which is an honorable estate, instituted of God, since the first man and the first woman walked on the earth.
Therefore, it is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently and soberly.
Into this holy estate, these two persons present come now to be joined.
Therefore, if anyone can show just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.
Who gives this woman to be with this man? [ANSWER]

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;[a] 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
